APPRENTICESHIP
Earn while you learn the trade. The apprenticeship program gives you that opportunity. Our apprenticeship program is now affiliated with a college so members get college credits for the classes we offer in this program.
During the program apprentices receive on-the-job training as well as a 4 weeks of class training. On-the-job training is exactly what it sounds. Apprentices will be working for a signature contractor learning the trade while receiving their weekly paycheck. The 4 weeks of class training is an 8-hour class Monday through Friday. It is 2 weeks of actual class time going over specific aspects of the trade, receiving specific safety course, and learning First Aid, CPR, and Defibrillator training. Then 2 weeks of hands-on training. Moch-ups are set up so apprentices can learn not only how to do the specifics of the job but more important learning how do to the job safely.
It is during the Apprenticeship Program that new member will receive raises. As you are progressing in the program members receive a raise every 500 working hours and 6 months.
